“We were staying locally and had booked ahead for dinner. We had a lovely meal cooked and presented well, had to wait a fair time for it but worth it. Then we thought we would just walk in another evening but hadn’t booked the person on the bar said we would have a wait of about 3/4 hour but unfortunately it turned out to be nearly 2 hours we could have walked away but we hadn’t booked anywhere else so decided to wait it out. The food is lovely but the time waiting was awful. It wasn’t the bar person’s fault and she tried her best to reassure us our food would come but it seems if you book you get a better service.”
