30, Parkengue Kernick Industrial Estate, PenrynA brilliant lunch out.We grabbed the train from Truro and wandered the 20 mins to the Verdant taphouse.On arrival, it was clear this was going to be special.A great vibe, busy but not overwhelming, lovely staff and a menu to die for.The three of us had three different pizzas and all were outstanding, with delicious dough, inventive toppings and carefully conceived combos.The beer was also incredible and so good straight from the tap.We'll be coming back soon.

Bohl's Yard, St Thomas St, PenrynWe were made to feel really welcome. Non gluten bases are easily catered for. Staff friendly and relaxed. Pizzas were super. Really enjoyed the evening. Children made welcome and respected. All in all, a super place, and we will be visiting again . 11B Commercial Rd, PenrynHad the opportunity to try the pork bao bun and it was the best quality bao bun I've ever had, full of flavour and good ingredients, cooked together wonderfully. Also the staff were really friendly and the design of the place is really cool too. Only went for a light lunch or small bite otherwise I would have tried some more dishes!

The Famous Barrel
St Thomas St, Harbour Village, PenrynTime warp. This is how pubs used to be and what is sadly lacking from today's endless gastropubs. Friendly staff, atmosphere, fireplace, live music. Love the entrance door which is a giant barrel. If you are new to the area or just passing through I strongly recommend going here.

The Old Bakehouse, 57 Lower Market St, PenrynI stop off at least once a week to pick up a couple of cakes for crib with Mum. The cakes are ALWAYS delicious, the staff are ALWAYS friendly and the folk on tables are happily munching delicious food.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomeParking: Free street parking is luck-of-the-draw. I almost always find a slot somewhere as there is a high turnaround of parked cars.

Staff were very helpful and attentive especially with regards to my grand daughter’s dietary needs.Dietary restrictions: My 2 year old granddaughter suffers from a variety of allergies mainly egg, dairy and nuts. 4 St Thomas St, PenrynGot me and my son some cheesy chips, haven't been here for over a year and I must say the new owners are doing a fantastic job! The portion size is fantastic and that's how you do cheesy chips! Hate places what go shy on the cheese!Overall a lovely place and a lovely owner, they have a wide variety of food on the menu and they also deliver, even though I like Mariners up the road, this is definitely a must try, fantastic food!

BLT all day food delivery
30b Parkengue, PenrynBeen in Falmouth for a couple of days and didn’t fancy going out out again so decided to try Uber Eats. Ordered a couple of burgers from here and we were very surprised with not only the speed in which it arrived but the outstanding quality of the food. Not every day you can get decent tasting burgers and proper chips, but these guys do it by the bucket load, can guarantee we’ll be coming back to eat here again, and anyone reading this should do the same.
