Cosy pub with multiple areas to eat. Dogs allowed in certain areas. Good choice of full meals and lighter bar meals. Plenty of parking and outdoor eating available on warmer weather.Beer choices good and friendly staff.Parking: Well laid out carpark just a few yards from pub entrance.
We were staying locally and had booked ahead for dinner. We had a lovely meal cooked and presented well, had to wait a fair time for it but worth it. Then we thought we would just walk in another evening but hadn’t booked the person on the bar said we would have a wait of about 3/4 hour but unfortunately it turned out to be nearly 2 hours we could have walked away but we hadn’t booked anywhere else so decided to wait it out. The food is lovely but the time waiting was awful....read full review
