Jelbert's had been at the top of my places to visit list for years and finally today we got to try Jelbert's iconic vanilla ice cream with clotted cream and a flake. Literally nothing better on a sunny October Cornish day. This place is described as an institution for a reason
Called in whilst on holiday in Cornwall after seeing James Martin on tv saying this was the best ice cream. He wasn’t wrong it was delicious! Only 1 flavour vanilla but that’s all you need, make sure to top off will a blob of Cornish clotted cream and a flake and what more could you want! We were served by 2 lovely pleasant girls and will call again on our next holiday. Well worth a visit to this lovely shop.

Superb ice cream, we’ve been known to have x2 in one day having driven to Newlyn twice to achieve this, well worth the trouble.I recommend Jelbert’s to anyone I know who is visiting Cornwall.Can’t wait for the next one, YUM YUM !!!!!
