Food was good, portion size spot on. polite staff to take orders and serve. Not sure why it has bad reviews as it would be above average in quality and lower in price than back home in Oxfordshire.
We usually use the other Chinese in the village out of habit but when that was closed we gave Jade House a try. For a comparison we ordered dishes that we would normally have. The food came out reasonably quickly and was still good and hot when we got home. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was equally as good as from the other takeaway, some dishes were definitely better (e.g. Sweet and Sour not so sickly sweet), others not as good (e.g. Black Bean Sauce not as spicy)...read full review

Got takeaway on Sunday evening, waited 20mins well worth it ? £27 for 2 people good value ??more tastier than back home (Kent) friendly polite lady served us, i heard in summer months waiting time double or more, but that to be expected ?
