Another fabulous visit to The Ugly Butterfly. The staff without exception are friendly and welcoming and well informed. The food is outstanding, the best we have ever eaten. The tasting menu was divine and the chefs very happily adapt dishes to suit preferences/allergies. It is expensive but we can see why. Apart from one other table booked for a relatively quick meal we were the only diners. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout the meal. Food was creative and very enjoyable.
It was a true pleasure to visit the restaurant, on arrival we meet with the team still hovering the carpet from the night before, which didn’t bother us at all, once past the hover the restaurant / bar staff sat us at the window seat on the bar area to order drinks prior to sitting down, the restaurant team than came to show us to the table what a view!
