This is a great spot for chinese food takeaway. We visited St Ives on Easter and were a bit surprised with how impossible it was to have dinner after 09:00. Luckily Yeungs saved our life, and food was so tasty that we had it two nights in a row! I had prawn Chow Mein and my portion had plenty of plump, nicely cooked prawns.Also the portion was massive. We were recommended to Yeung’s by a local and walked in for a Friday night takeaway. They were clearly busy with people collecting online and phone orders but service was excellent and it took about 10 minutes for our order to arrive. It was still piping hot after a 5 minute walk home and we were wowed by the spare ribs, which were plentiful and meaty! The squid and the shrimp chow mein were excellent as well. I went in the store and the lady on the counter is very polite and understood me without any issues, the Chow Mein was lovely, as were the chips and curry sauce. Make sure to bring cash as cards are not accepted however there is a free cash point machine in the co op just a few doors down.Vegetarian options: Some nice vegetarian options available.
