Stopped in just for a sandwich takeaway. Got the homemade coronation chicken. A bit disappointed. There was just too much mayonnaise in the recipe. Lacked a good curry bite as well.
We got the High Afternoon Tea, a selection of sandwiches, Eggs Royale and the tomato soup. The kids really enjoyed their food and we did too.- 10/10. The service was spot on and we loved the traditional feel of the place.Vegetarian options: There are vegan options available. I suggest a vegetarian quiche as part of the daily menu.

Lovely atmosphere and service, but the food is just passable. Very disappointing cheese on the ploughmans and the bread was not particularly fresh. Missing that extra 10% to make it really worth it!
