British • “We visited here as we were passing through Ambleside and we were so pleased we did! The service was incredible - such friendly, happy staff who are willing to take their time with you. The apple pie was always going to be good but wow, it was AMAZING! I wish I’d had room for a couple more! We also had a brunch butty and a cheese and potato pasty - both of which were delicious! Plenty of seating and the queue moves quickly. Toilets are so clean too - always a big plus!”

“Had a delicious evening meal here. Both waitresses were attentive and friendly. The food was very good. Would recommend the mussels which came in a very balanced sauce and some bread to dip. We enjoyed all of the food, but be warned, the portions are generous to visit hungry.”

“Been here a few times, it's a wonderful place to have a cuppa and something to munch!
The staff are outstanding and the service is also, even when busy they work hard to provide every single customer a great atmosphere and welcoming place to be.
