Our go to cafe whenever we visit Ambleside. Been a few times now and it’s always lovely. Fresh, hot, delicious food and a cosy log fire was just what we needed after today’s walk. Staff always very friendly too. We will be back!
Called in on our day out in Ambleside. Nice interior with a small but nice outside seating area. Only one toilet which you get to by going outside to the terrace. Menu included loaded fries and burgers which looked lovely when served to others. We had coffee and cake. Chocolate cherry tart was lovely. Full of flavour. And a scone with all the trimmings. Huge scone and very nice. Next time we visit we'll pop in again.

Called in for lunch today and what a lovely experience. The two gentleman serving were extremely friendly and the food was really lovely too. It’s a great little cafe with a relaxing atmosphere! What a difference great customer service makes to a cafe or restaurant! The younger guy with glasses (didn’t catch his name) was very accommodating and friendly. We will most certainly be back on our next visit to Ambleside! Thank you!
