“We visited here as we were passing through Ambleside and we were so pleased we did! The service was incredible - such friendly, happy staff who are willing to take their time with you. The apple pie was always going to be good but wow, it was AMAZING! I wish I’d had room for a couple more! We also had a brunch butty and a cheese and potato pasty - both of which were delicious! Plenty of seating and the queue moves quickly. Toilets are so clean too - always a big plus!”

“We came on a Sunday, there didn't seem to be any food but contrary to some reviews below, they definitely had soft drinks. As for the cats, 5 stars is obviously not enough. Super friendly and very willing to give customers the satisfaction of petting them. Also, it's nice to run into openly LGBT spaces out in the countryside.”

“Lovely little cafe to have a bite to eat/drink while sitting outside and watching the world go by …..see photos of boats etc. drinks & food served in ‘takeaway’ cups/plates. EXPENSIVE though in the car park (see photos) . Nice walk along to nearby Borrans Park where youngsters were paddle boarding. Good gift shop nearby too.”

“Been here a few times, it's a wonderful place to have a cuppa and something to munch!
The staff are outstanding and the service is also, even when busy they work hard to provide every single customer a great atmosphere and welcoming place to be.
