Superb cafe on the edge of Ambleside but worth the short walk. We went twice during our week on holiday. All staff very friendly and some great banter. Nice little touches like home made shortbread served with hot drinks really nice. The full English was superb as was the breakfast quiche. Could not fault this cafe and wish we could find one of these everywhere we go. Recommended!
Lovely little cafe on the entrance to Ambleside. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They offer gluten free bread for sandwiches so that’s a bonus as not many places too. Nice portions. Cheese and ham toastie came with a nice salad and crisps. They’re dog friendly too and you have the option of sitting either in or outside.Pay and display parking around the back to the building, just the first left past the cafe

Great little cafe serving really nice food. Excellent service from people who obviously care about their customers and the food they are serving.We had the quiche which was displayed to us before ordering- great way of showing it off!
