“We had sunday lunch here in this beautiful restaurant last weekend Everything was beautiful Friendly welcoming staff ..young waitress was very efficient Roast Dinner garlic mushrooms topped with parmesan were gorgeous … craved them since roast beef and lovely vegetable selection and a really good portion .. very reasonably priced set price for 2 or 3 courses Lovely gift shop downstairs .. if you havent been .. then you must as you wont be disappointed .”

“Looked at the menu online and took five of my teenage grandchildren in for lunch with the promise of a burger. I was extremely impressed with the quality of food and value for money. More to the point is the very warm welcome you receive from the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m gluten free and it was refreshing to have someone go through all the options on the menu without making me feel a nuisance, which has occurred at numerous places. Service was excellent and food delicious. The experience was so good we all returned the following two days!

Baguettes were on an offer 2 for £18 and they even had a separate gluten free menu with lots of choice!
