Date of Visit 17th December2023 One of the delights in my self-imposed job of searching out the good, the bad, and the ugly in the Indian restaurant trade is coming across such places as the Taj Mahal in Barrow-in-Furness. Three of us went for a meal here on Saturday night when staying in Barrow to visit the Lakes. We really enjoyed the food which was superb and one of the best Indian Meals we have ever had. Special shout out to the Young lad who took our order and looked after us. He Made the effort to ask us where we were going and from etc. Highly recommend the place and would not hesitate to return.

What can I say apart from wow My partner and I ordered a starter and a main course her indoors had onion bhaji which she said was the best she had ever had I had the mixed kebab which was fantastic she had a vegetable korma and I went for 1 of the specials which consisted of Nan bread on the bottom with cheesy chips and topped with lamb and chicken pieces was amazing you can bring your own alcoholic drinks in which is a fantastic money saver and a special mention to the young...read full review
