“We booked and arrived on time. Our table was on the upper floor. We ordered the slow cooked lamb hendry which was a smallish lamb shank with roasted vegetables. We felt that the roasted vegetables were undercooked and very hard the lamb shanks were well cooked but we felt that the whole dish could have been better.
One others criticism is the 10% service charge that's added to your bill, you pay this whether you had a good, bad or indifferent experience.”

“Second time we've been, our go to in the lakes. Food is incredible, service is immaculate. The pork belly confit and wood pigeon breast were perfect - as was the rest of the food.”

“Very helpful staff. Found a place inside for 6 of us and a dog. Tasty food with smaller and more substantial dishes were available. The younger members of the group went for the mango cider which was very sweet mango flavour but not cidery as you might think”
