I called into this inn/pub for some lunch, all I can say the food was excellent and a fantastic price the staff are so friendly and the pub was so clean . I would highly recommend this pub for lunch evening meal or just a drink ,
Firstly what a cracking tap selection, for the first time in a long time I wasn't just making do. I was spoiled for choice! Went for the Westerns in the end, but would of been equally happy with the mulled cider, Neck Oil or Old Rosie. I got the sandwich and soup, again it didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere, warm and cozy. Bar staff really friendly and welcoming. I had beef madras, excellent value for money, plenty on the plate and very tasty. The wife had a vegetarian curry which was on the special board, she really enjoyed it. Been to this pub many many times over the years, has never let us down. Will be back for sure.
