Small friendly restaurant with a nice menu choice. The staff were very attentive and the food was as good as anywhere. Soup, prawns, fish and steak all cooked perfectly. We will definitely go again the next time we are in the Lake District.
We were originally booked in at Porto for my wife's birthday as we had been there previously. We got cancelled without an explanation, so had to find an alternative. I'm so glad Porto was cancelled! We were met by Andrew who was really friendly and acommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We ordered scallops to start which were delicious and then fillet steak which was equally as delicious. Had the most amazing meal this evening. Everything was home cooked and piping hot. Food was incredible. Staff are fabulous and very attentive. So pleased I booked or we wouldn’t have been able to walk in and get a table. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely return. Thank you.
