The Chinese restaurant is very good, the service is very good and the food is so fresh and delicious to eat, The staff are friendly and welcoming and they remember you which is impressive The best Chinese in the local area by far.

Me and my boyfriend got 2 salt and pepper chicken, 2 salt and pepper chips, one egg fried rice and one veggie spring roll. This came to a total of £37 which we only found out when we got there which is pretty expensive. Got home, the chicken and chips barley filled HALF the container and half of it was veg…. The rice and spring rolls were really nice but the chicken and chips had a Smokey taste which was nice but there’s was definitely no taste of salt and pepper. Too expensive, small portions and honestly not even that great :/

Have visited this restaurant a few times over the years and decided to return with the family on this occasion. However sadly on this occasion whilst a family member was enjoying the special chow mein discovered a fly in the meal , yes a fully fledged blue bottle. Obviously we all stopped eating the rest of the meals and was informed that there was a problem with flies in the kitchen!!! and yet they where still cooking and serving food. We where still made to pay for what we had eaten.

Went here with my wife while in the lakes for a couple of days and we had the £28 per person banquet which we thought after the Bland chicken and sweetcorn soup that the rest would not be nice but we were wrong the starters were very nice and aromatic duck was lovely followed by the special sweet and sour dish and sweet and sour chicken which were both very nice so in the end we were glad we tried here and the service was very good.

Been passing this restaurant every week for years - always wanted to try it - finally got the chance to enjoy with friends. Staff were helpful and friendly. I wanted a few extra different vegetables and it was no problem. Food was piping hot and delicious and there was plenty of it. Banana fritters were delicious too. So pleased I booked it. Will definitely be back .

Like most people we have tried loads of Chinese restaurants over the years and this was one of the better ones. Service, ambience and flavours were excellent. Textures of dishes and variation was ok, but the overall experience was very pleasant. Much better than most.

We visited here purely because it was the first Chinese takeaway that we saw. We ordered, duck, chicken and beef and I can honestly say that none of it was very good. It's a shame because the service was good. The people are very nice but the quality of the food wasn't nice. We were starving, but none of us ate more than about 30% of our meals before we gave up with it. It's a shame because it has a nice location, nice staff but the food let's it down

Starter of duck was ok - fat needed a little more rendering, but was ok for us (family of 4) as a starter. Mains came and were not good. Spicy beef dish tasted weird, Singapore noodles were so dry and the meat was an odd texture! Fried rice ok, salt and pepper chips ok, satay chicken truly awful and no taste of nut at all! Weird taste! All dishes had limited meat content and were not value for money.

Very disappointed tonight. Table booked in advance for family of 4 (2 adults 2 children). An hour wait before starters arrived. Service awful and food not great (greasy and very little meat in fried rice and chow mein dishes) . Very expensive meal and very disappointed. Toilets are in need of a good clean as well.

I don't recommend it the food was lousy out of all the restaurants I have been to it was the worst the food was not tasty at all and you got a burnt taste... awful awful awful my Baby's booster was dirty it was sticking (oils) and the table cloth too dirty compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to, the prices were more expensive and the food very bad

Quality chinese food served by really nice staff in a very pleasant atmosphere. Visited during happy hour (5-7pm) and got a really good deal. Will definitely return. Recommended

The staff was really friendly but the food really wasn’t good, worst Chinese I have ever had for a high price too. The Singapore noodle was very bland and I found myself having to add in table salt to give it some taste, something i have never done at a restaurant. The sweet and sour sauce also wasn’t good; best part of my meal was the pineapple juice.
