We called in as staying in hotel opposite, there’s a bar area & restaurant side which is where we sat, after a drink we decided to eat we enjoyed the food very much & good price. My husband enjoyed it as they sold real ale ?? would definitely recommend the brook side inn 8/10 staff nice also
Good value good pub grub. Very family friendly and dog friendly. The waitress kindly offered to bring our dog water to the table together with our drinks. Warm cozy old school pub atmosphere. Enjoyed the pub games while we were waiting.

Off the beaten track so does not get the usual influx of tourists and probably all the better for it. Ate here once when we moved to the area and the food was good pub grub, would quite often head here before going in to Windermere town or walking down to Bowness-on-Windermere. Really cannot fault it, usually has sports on during the afternoon and in to the evening, dart board seems popular and they do have live music some evenings, altogether just a very good local.
