Bought the the movie deal so went to the cinema then to restaurant for meal. I really wasn’t expecting the quality of the meal we had absolutely delicious the soup was best we’ve had and the garlic mushrooms with chorizo was so tasty!! We’ve been coming to Bowness for years and this is our first but definitely not our last visit to Beresfords! Food nearer the lake is overpriced and not great in our opinion . Had our staff Xmas do here for the 3rd time. We absolute love the place. Warm welcome and staff were great. We went downstairs to the bar for drinks before dinner. The bar was warm and welcoming with Xmas music on. We went upstairs to the restaurant where the staff Michelle and Marion greeted us and showed us to our table . We decided to visit on a whim, and we are glad we did. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Not to mention the food is absolutely top notchParking: If you visit at a busier time you may find it difficult to get parked, however it is only about a 20min walk from Windermere centre
