MWD’s is a hidden gem in Carlisle with delicious food and drinks in a warm, cosy and quirky atmosphere. The savoury options have as much personality as the cakes do and the “scone- wich” really is as tasty as it looks. The cakes are by far the best I have ever tasted, thankfully you can take a box home to continue (or share if you reluctantly have to) the deliciousness. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent, combined with fantastic food, great coffee, and excellent value, I would not hesitate to recommended this cafe! I will be back soon :)

Didn't know this was here but had tried their cakes and bakes elsewhere. So came looking. Lovely little place hidden away.So much dietary availability.I had gluten free pancakes which were also dairy free, so had a decent brunch without the consequences of pain later.Lucas loved his pancakes too.So fluffy and light.Gluten free cheese scone was the absolute bomb, and chutney to die for.Will absolutely be coming back regularly.Amazing amazing place, and manager/owner was lovely to get to know.Dietary restrictions: Loads of gluten and dairy free choice. None of it prepackaged cardboard, all made fresh.

The cafe itself is so cosy and welcoming.I still can’t believe how amazing those sweet treats taste..whether it’s gluten-free you’re after, you’ll be happy! Extremely delicious.
