on the way back to penrith stopped off for a takeaway...got chicken mushroom,sweet sour chicken ,salt pepper ribs and rice.....absolutely superb....sauces so good and best ribs in years....will be back ...40 mile return trip or not
No where in Carlisle can you find special fried rice like this anymore: decent portion size- mixed meats, gravy on the side with a fried egg to boot. It’s not rocket science people!! New city still pull it off. Shame on all you other imitators. Get your asses to new city for the best special fried rice in town

I phoned really close to closing time and felt really cheeky when I realised what time time was, but the lovely staff still delivered my order. As requested I got a call when the driver was outside (my place is awkward to find), they were prompt and the food was absolutely lovely as always. This is my favourite place to get Chinese food in all of carlisle.
