On our previous visit the Chips were lovely, but tonight my carton contained scraps. I realise in the evening large new batches can't be produced but why serve cold hard scraps, barely any chips with actual filling, tasted like they'd been left out (probably had as were freezing despite getting them home within minutes and covering them in my own boiling hot gravy as there was none left in the chip shop) £6.10 for cheese and chips I couldn't eat. I'd rather they had been honest and just said they were out of chips.Really poor!

We usually order online, but our recent visit to get some food was miserable. Felt like we were being stared down by moody teenagers hoping we'd leave. Negative experience, lousy attitudes.Won't be ordering again.

Ordered GF fish & chips after finding Paolo's online.Absolutely delicious. The fish was really fresh, moist and tasty. TheGF batter was the best I've tasted.Thank you ?

Ordered: chips with a cheese and onion patty, cheesy chips, chicken bites and a carton of chip sauce curry sauce. Received someone else’s order of: fish and chips x2, 2 fish on its own, chips on its own , chips with two sausages a battered marsbar. The food was not great. The chips were okay but that’s about it. The battered marsbar definitely looked battered. Would not eat from here again.

This is my go to chip shop and generally the chips are spot on but I have had a couple of portions that tasted as if the chips had been sat a while. Fortunately this is in the minority and hasn't put me off using them. Just don't order through just eat as the delivery drivers are useless and Paolo's can't do anything if the order isn't delivered correctly

Had fish chips mushy peas, chips fish swiming in oil, peas devoid of any flavour, ended up in the bin. Wont be back.

Received wrong order when I rangthe shop I Was argued with and basically called a liar and fobbed off that they couldn't send missing items because they don't employ the drivers. Very poor attitude from staff Paul. You've lost a customer sorry

Brilliant gluten free fish and chips. Lots of other gluten free options just need to ring ahead to order. All cooked in a completely separate fryer. Always great service and food.
