Tucked into the meal and thought the chips needed drained more they left a horrible after taste they were not well cooked . The cod was amazing couldnt fault it . Them chips ruined the meal more tlc required?
Didn't know the area as just staying for the weekend. Found this place and glad we did. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.Had a smoked sausage supper and a sausage supper. Batter was crispy and tasty, chips were exactly what you want from chippy chips, bit of colour and lots of taste. This is my go to chip shop and generally the chips are spot on but I have had a couple of portions that tasted as if the chips had been sat a while. Fortunately this is in the minority and hasn't put me off using them. Just don't order through just eat as the delivery drivers are useless and Paolo's can't do anything if the order isn't delivered correctly
