We were looking for Sunday lunch at short notice, and were lucky to find this lovely pub just outside Carlisle. We had a warm welcome and a fabulous lunch - roast beef and turkey were both excellent, and the desserts were delicious and anything but run of the mill. Wow ? what can I say ?fantastic food & drink ? fantastic service? fantastic atmosphere ? I would highly recommend good choice of food from the menu ?I will definitely be visiting again 10/10 ?

We stopped by for a meal while passing through from Scotland and would recommend turning off the M6 and travelling a couple of miles to eat here rather than the hustle and bustle of Carlisle centre. The Staff were very accommodating and the service very efficient. We would highly recommend the Pork Gyros. Excellent, very very tasty and nicely presented. One of the nicest pub meals we have had in a long while.
