Didn't eat this visit. Watched a band with friends and had a couple of drinks. Staff were able to book us a booth last minute and kept on top of glasses throughout.Clientele was good, the Mrs was dragged up to dance a few times by other groups.Drinks are priced as to be expected this day and age but not overly expensive. Stunning pub, beautifully created areas but wide and open.Nice beer, very friendly service and a fab location. A great pub on Scotland Road that beats everything in the area. If you want to stop for a drink, this is the place.

A big thanks to The Crown in Stanwix for fitting us in for dinner without a reservation and on a live music night! Venison Sausages and Mash & Steak and Ale Pie was smashing, after a long journey. Recommended for good atmosphere and service ?
