I regularly stop off in the Griffin when travelling back to the Scottish Borders and it is always a great place to hang out. Really nice food, the staff are great and I always enjoy having a pint here, when doing some work on my laptop.
This was one of the busiest days, but the staff were excellent. They've been let down by staff and management but still pulled it out the bag and made us feel special. Massive shout out to Violet, she was fantastic! Needs a promotion! All staff working there arses off! Well

This was just what we needed. Came in on a Monday night, it was bright and airy with nice furnishings. It wasn't loud and was a great place to have a drink and a light bite with a little one after a long train ride. Staff were polite and helpful and it was clean and warm.
