I came across this place while searching for a charger to charge my car. They have a bank of four Instavolt chargers, all of which are functional. While waiting for the car to charge up, we visited the cafe. The service was excellent, the portions were fantastic, and the mushroom soup of the day was delicious. We are local and have eaten here often. Today’s experience wasn’t as good as previous visits. Order was taken promptly. The food was ok despite being given a toastie rather than a sandwich, which I didn’t return as my companion would have been eating on their own. Following our meal we planned to order two cakes and two coffees, however our lunch plates weren’t cleared away for well over an hour by which time we decided against having coffee and cake. Excellent customer experience. Stopped off for a Breakfast Bap after an early hospital appointment. Delicious food, friendly efficient service.Lovely selection of gifts in shop too - tempted to buy more than I intended!
