“Always pop in here when in Grasmere for lovely traditional tea and lunch. The rarebit and the soups are both AMAZING. It's soup of the day so changes but cauliflower cheese soup, spiced parsnip or garlic and mushroom are the best I've tried (especially with a bacon and brie roll!).”

“A really nice bistro in Grasmere. Lamb rump was excellent and chicken supreme also lovely. Good atmosphere. Service was good and prices were ok. Booking is recommended and can be done via their website or by phone.”

“was in for a coffee and slice of lemon drizzle and i must say exremely delicious and well worth it sat and ate in my coach but would certsinly recommend.”
“Room 6, although up two flights of narrow stairs, is lovely. Large windows, nice bath (shower and tub) and spiral stair up to bedroom and roof top terrace. Cozy, quiet, romantic.”
