“Lovely cafe. We visited this week on holiday with our toddler and the staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating - entertainment bag, child’s cutlery and drink bottles etc. Sadly our little one was rather poorly so we had to cut the visit short and run, but if we were local we’d definitely be regular ”

Separate allergy menu was lovely for one family member who needs gluten free food and she had a good selection to choose from.Staff serving were great, helpful and friendly throughout the evening. We shared some sides instead of all having starters and all chose different main courses that all arrived at the same time.Thoroughly great time had by us all.Dietary restrictions: Very clear and well laid out information on the allergy menu. One family member who need to avoid gluten and one with a peanut allergy and it’s always reassuring to have information clearly presented and staff who appear well informed.”

“Had a long weekend here with my wife and 3 dogs. Could not fault the place. Wonderful staff. Dave behind the bar is somewhat a character.Very nice rooms with modern bath room. Tea and coffee making facilities available in room, great breakfast with continental and hot food options. Great filter coffee!We eat here a couple of times at night and were not disappointed.Great location to venture around the lakes. Well worth a visit. Back here again in December.”
