The journey is more than worth it. Great food and you can choose to eat in the well stocked bar or in the restraunt.If you stop you won't be disappointed with any of the rooms.Rooms: A good selection from 9 rooms to suite not only the pocket but taste.Food & drinks: A well stocked bar with knowledgeable friendly staff. Very elegant and cozy atmosphere. Staff extremely profesional and kind. Food was absolutely delicious, made with seasonal ingredients, understanding good ingredients and cooking techniques really well. Many gluten free and dairy free options! So friendly that the manager even drove us home because it was raining! We had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to go there again.

I came here for the food whilst visiting the lakes and what a brilliant experience it was from start to finish. The inn is incredibly warming but classy, combining the feel of a pub with a top end restaurant.The service is impeccable. Alice was great waitress and not only did she support us when picking our food, she provided advice on where to visit in the local area.
