Mot been here for years and unfortunately won't be going again unless we really have to, fish was over cooked and the batter was really effected, on the other hand, staff was nice and friendly.
Just returned from a lovely vacation in the Lakes . We popped in to this quaint little fish and chip shop , as we were absolutely starving . I have to say that that the fish and chips were totally amazing, cooked to perfection and I have to give a special mention to Joe on the counter , professional , polite and a credit to the owner of this establishment …: so well done to the chef and to Joe . We stopped by for a quick bite. The gentleman was very friendly and served the food as per our request. The batter was thin and crispy as requested by us. 5 star for the friendly and welcoming man behind the counter and cook.
