This place is a absolute gem for the real ale enthusiasts. Magnificent selection of fine Kirkby Lonsdale brews. Very busy which highlights the vast popularity of this Real Ale Mecca! Highly recommended and yes, I bought a T-shirt !!

Always a favourite when we visit KL. Often we find that brewery / beer focussed places have other options as an afterthought, but we particularly love that here seems to do everything well, so non-beer drinkers can really enjoy it too.On our latest visit, we called in late morning for coffee, and enjoyed an excellent cappuccino. I then tried the Devil's Bridge IPA (keg), which is now my preferred KL Brewery offering. My wife ordered a pinot blush rose wine (white zinfandel offered as another option).It was quiet when we first arrived but got very busy later in our visit, as we stayed for a couple of hours. Throughout our visit, the atmosphere was good and staff were friendly and efficient. We didn't eat but we saw food delivered to other tables and it looked very good.

Emailed to ask if could book no answer, rang and left a message no call back . Called in and told to just turn up. Did so at 8 and they had stopped serving food . Beer and building may be fab but customer services is a bit lacking

I was all over England for two weeks; I looked for good beer in about a dozen pubs. KLB had by far the best selection, and was the only place I found that offered a stout other than Guinness (which is too light for me). I was very happy to see that KLB offers two stouts, both delicious.
Superb place to visit and sample an array of fine beers, but be aware it will take you longer than you think.From the outside it's very non discript, but inside they have really gone to town.

Good beers - plenty of choice on tap from the brewery and others. The place was busy, but not too crowded which was nice. The service was good, but I wish it could have been a little friendlier. A smile and a welcome is nice in a place like this. I think this is a must visit if you come to Kirby Lonsdale. Recommended.

One of the most beautiful bars I’ve ever visited! Great atmosphere, lots of choice (even if you’re not into pints), and the staff are lovely. We loved the tasting flights. Wish were here long enough to come and taste the pizzas! ?
