We visited this pub for a post meal drink. We are a middle aged couple who have visited Kirkby Lonsdale for many years. We have always felt welcomed by businesses here. However on this occasion the Landlord and other bar staff practically ignored us and focusssed their attention on what appeared to be regulars, who already had drinks. This was despite them noticing our arrival and that we were waiting to be served. The landlord served in a cursory manner which did not make us feel welcome and meant we only chose to stay for the one drink. This was a shame as there was a live singer who was good and the people who came and sat near us were also engaging. Unfortunately our treatment by the landlord meant we moved on elsewhere.Visited the first week of November 2023.

A member of our group was served raw food, pink and cold sausage on a burger is not what we expected when we were paying £14 + for a burger. When we complained to a staff member they took the burger away, but only replaced the item not the whole meal. As a skewer was used to connect the sausage to the burger I would have expected the whole item to be replaced as this is very clearly cross contamination. To make matters worse the staff didn't seem to care, there was little in the way of an apology. When more food arrived there were bits missing from all of the plates to which we also notified staff.Drinks didn't arrive until after I reminded the bar staff, to which we had nearly finished our food.Overall a very poor experience, I would look at other establishments in the area before visiting this one.

Great little pub food was cooked to perfection and I feel like I got more than I paid for thank you to Ben, Rae & Amy who made our day so much

Called in for some drinks and food. 4 adults all had burgers. Nice enough. Around £14 each. 2 vegan burgers were not as described on the menu in that they were meant to have pulled jackfruit and Doritos but had neither. No explanation about why this was.

Stayed here for one night, very easy check in And staff were helpful in carrying bags to our room, check out is between 7 and 11, we srayed in the attic and the bed was big enough to share comfortably. There is a kettle in the room for drinks and it has an ensuite and towels provided. Just be ware that there are low beams and door frames in the room and although it gives it character it can be an issue for taller people. Breakfast is table service and has a selection of cooker and continental be sure to pre pay.The location of snooty is in the centre of kirby Lonsdale however it does not have parking on site. The nearest car park i recommend is new street car park 1, is a 2 minute walk, and purchase of a 3day permit for just under £20 is possible

We called for a pint on a Sunday. Football match on TV, busy, loads of atmosphere, my favourite cider on draft, served by friendly staff. We didn't eat here but menu sounded good for a return visit one day.

A booking error on my part as I hadn't realised it was a big screen sports bar. Food was okay but plain and lack lustre, I've never been given dry bread with no butter with fish and chips before but it was sorted. It is what it is and was pretty busy.

Our room was on the front, not too bad regarding noise. The room itself was excellent, very clean and tidy.We have stayed there once before and would stay again.Location perfect.

Visited a few times for meals in the past hence booking to stay. Our experience was different from expectations.Room was clean and comfortable but staff were far from welcoming. Ate elsewhere as we were told it would be busy for evening meals and couldn't book a table. Wouldn't serve coffee in the bar was told there were facilities in the rooms.Limited breakfast choice and when served by an unhappy hostess the food was mediocre.Certainly wouldn't return or recommend there are much nicer and friendlier B&B's in Kirby Londsdale.Nearby activities: Great Base for walking activities including the three peaks.Walkability: Central

We visited today for lunch, very slow service. Food expensive for what it is and varies from what is stated on menu, we were very disappointed. Would not visit again.

The premises were almost empty so was served immediately. Ordered 2 cappuccino coffees. Received brown, unpleasant tasting hot drink. There was zero froth with no chocolate topping .. it wasn’t even mentioned. Cappuccino coffee …it definitely was not! Drinkable… it definitely was not!

Had a few days in the area and visited the pub five times at different times of day. Visited with two dogs ,one being a giant breed pup but welcomed every time, despite her spilling her water pot, kindly provided by the staff.Had drinks and snacks, the chips were very good. All the staff were very friendly and hardworking, young lad, believe Ollie kept the tables cleared and cleaned constantly. Hope you will let us back when she is full grown
