We loved everything about our stay at Plato’s and Kirkby Lonsdale. Beautiful property, super helpful and friendly hosts, gorgeous rooms, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, tasty food, great breakfast, potent cocktails.We arrived on 2 motorbikes and they were given just as warm a welcome as we were, shown to their own secure room on the property. We stayed with our dog for 2 nights at Plato's. This was a return visit and I'm so glad we came back! The room was very comfortable with thoughtful touches for our four legged friend. The hotel also offer a parking pass for you to use within the town.Breakfast was great and included in the price. It has the most beautiful courtyard covered in grape vines which we sat in and had a relaxing cup of tea. Thank you.

Fantastic restaurant, great service, friendly and helpful staff.We shared a delicious salami and prosciutto platter, then had a fabulous lemon sole. It looked and tasted so great, I completely forgot to take a picture until it had all gone.Loved it. Can't wait to go back.Food & drinks: Great food, brilliant menu.
