Lovely, characterful pub. We had dinner here on the recommendation of Travelodge staff. Food was home made and delicious. Steak and ale pie recommended. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Outstanding value for money. We will be back if passing this way again.
We had a meal last Wednesday at The Kings Arms and our meals were excellent. Not only was the food gorgeous, it as all served in a lovely pub full of character and by really friendly staff. If we are passing this way again, we will definitely call into The Kings Arms.

Stayed at nearby lodges and came for Saturday tea. Husband had steak pie and I had braised beef and both were beautifully cooked! Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for Sunday lunch which didn't disappoint! Choice of beef, chicken or lamb and great value for money! A little gem of a pub that I'd definitely visit again if in the area.
