Stainton, PenrithLovely little pub we came across on our travels. Managed to fit us in for lunch at new year. The steak pie and homemade chips were delicious! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, highly recommend!

Rivermead, Newton Reigny, PenrithI’m possibly a bit biased as we provide the rijo42 coffee to this Pub, but let me tell you now, I’ve just had the afternoon pie special, unbelievable ?I can not believe how good the food is , great people lovely little pub! Well done Lucy ? New coffee machine coming soon! I’ll be back for a Sunday roast very soon.

The Clickham Inn
B5288, PenrithFirst time at the Clickham Inn, but definitely won't be the last. A lovely warm welcome (even though we were very early, they still accommodated us).The menu was full of delicious-sounding food, so it was a tough choice! It arrived, freshly cooked-to-order (no sitting under hot lights for this place!), and was absolutely fantastic! I had the fish, chips & mushy peas (definitely one to have again), and others had the chicken, ham and leek pie (looked amazing), the rump steak, and Katsu curry. Beautiful. I'll definitely have the pie next time, as it looked so good, but the steak was juicy and tender and the Katsu full of flavour, so I'd have been more than happy with anything (and I'm not THAT easily pleased).Atmosphere was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly and efficient.Thoroughly recommended!

The Boot & Shoe Inn
Greystoke, PenrithFood & drinks: We went on Mother’s Day on he off chance. The food and service was great. Very hospitable with the food coming prompt with being cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great time. Credit to all the staff.
