“As a family we have been coming here for many years, we have always had a warm welcome and lovely food, well worth a visit when in ”
“By chance we came across the very best coffee, cake, 80’s music trivia and a challenging music puzzle you will ever need when cycling the Coast to Coast. Thanks to Altogether Now by The Farm we conquered Hartside Pass…”
“Absolutely amazing service, proper good grub and with such nice views you can't go wrong.”
“Quiet little cafe at the time we arrived had a quick lunch then had a walk around town .”
“What a delight in Penrith.Lovely personal touch and a pumpkin spiced late to die for ?”
“What a little gem a great tea room. Friendly staff and lovely food. Was a little quiet could do with a little back ground music. Decorated beautifully. Spotless clean.Greek three bean soup was gorgeous.”
“Really great country house hotel. It feels like you are a house guest rather than a customer. The food is amazing. A great place for a special occasion.”
“Had a lovely roast dinner here. Large portions and very cheap. Only draw back was the roast potatoes. They were not cut into halfs or quarters, just full potatoes left to roast. Middle was very bland and dry. Shame as the rest of the meal was amazing”
“Came here for a lunch date with friends on a very cold day. There was a queue outside waiting to be seated.Good menu choices, lots to choose from, staff were fabulous and very friendly. It was very busy, but we did find it rather cold even inside, so you may need to be well wrapped up.Also dog friendly both inside and outside. On a warmer day we would have sat outside overlooking the river.”
“I love to make this the go to place, following a lengthy woodland walk....for their delicious cakes. Usually go with my Border Terrier, who is always made to feel welcome too n the outside patio area. The Carrot cake is divine....we love it there..”
