We’ve just had one of the nicest meals we have ever had from the Lakeland continental. The chicken was unbelievable, cooked to perfection, the donner meat melted in your mouth. I challenge anyone to find a better donner meat than here. The chips were perfectly cooked as well. The service was top notch, the lady on the phone was so polite and took our order so efficiently, we didn’t have to repeat a word.We never leave reviews or comments on the take always we get, but myself...read full review

Stopped on the off-chance there were gluten-free options on the menu. There weren't although the staff agreed to let me have the shish kebab with chips instead of wheat flour pitta bread and pay £1 extra. My husband had a Cumberland sausage ring and chips which he enjoyed very much. My inlaws always use this chippy un Ulverston.

Visited here last night for some chips and burgers. We received excellent service and we had plenty of food. Very good value for money. The portion sizes were very generous and we got a free garlic bread. We would definitely visit again.
