Waitress brought menu over to my table, l went to the bar to make my order, halfway through writing the order down she declared that they were not serving food. Told sooner l would not have bought drinks.

Disgusting service. Ordered food. Waited an hour checked to see where it was and was told our food hadn't even been started yet with no explanation. We were the only ones in eating and only ordered light meals. staff weren't even bothered. One of our party was diabetic and the staff didn't seem to care that we had waited around for an hour for nothing. Would not recommend to anyone. Go over the road. Much nicer with better staff.

Called in for a drink after work and I have never felt so anxious! A woman who was clearly drunk and cleaning was having a go at a new member of staff and causing a scene and continued to do so throughout my drink. She is clearly known in here and comes in regularly. Then loads of kids running round shouting and screaming.... Do not recommend if you fancy a quiet drink! Probably won't come in again. Ideal if you want an episode of Jeremy Kyle. Shame!

absolutely disgusting, waited a hour and a half for poor quality food. everything was cold, meat tasted horrible, big lumps in the mash, everything was disgusting. if I pay £22 for two Sunday dinners and for the delivery, I expect for the order to be brought to my door! And the food at least be warm and nice! disgusting never ordering or going for food there again.

The food is always good and good value in my opinion, and the staff are always pleasant, but on our past 2 visits we've waited between 45 minutes to over an hour from ordering to be served. One member of our party ended up having to take his meal to work with him in a carry out box the wait was so long. We were not told that there would be a wait due to the high number of deliveries being prepared, it was only when we asked we were told. Come on guys, you can do better.

First time I was there in well over a decade and thoroughly enjoyed my visit (27/05/23) the food was fantastic and a great choice of beers the barmaid (Rosie) was all smiles and very pleasant and helpful all dayVery nice establishment and met some lovely people too
Amazing carvery with a good portion of meat, real crispy roasties and a good selection of vegetables all for £9. No cooking or washing up to do it's a no brainer.

Today was the Cat Catering Company for a roast lamb dinner but before anything else the excessive mint sauce was my addition not a vegetable included.So, this was really nice and tasty and if you like your two veg as well as your meat this is the place for you. There were mulit-vegetables in abundance and none were boring or filling an eat-good position on the plate. The likes of mashed swede and carrot which was sought-after tasty not boring, two or three whole white cabbage leaves which had flavour, broccoli likewise which can be boring and tedious, cauliflower cheese, roasters, mash, some French type beans and the rest is history in my digestive system. A really nice Yorkshire and lamb which was generously bestowed - all in all a really decent roast to get your chops into with plenty of interesting variation and not a stray whisker in sight.Whatever these Cats do they do it in tasty style. Claws up, Cats!
