We often go to The Earl with family for food and drinks. Staff are consistently warm and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The menu is competitively priced, varied and has some great vegan options. The food is delicious which is also another consistent element of the best pub in Whitehaven. Live music at the weekends is a must if you're out. Get your table booked today.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options to choose from!

Came here for drinks after a good dinner in town on a Saturday evening. The place was busy but not too busy. People were having fun but not raucous. Staff were super efficient at getting drinks. I liked the decor and general atmosphere.They have the weirdest snug ever though! More like a sensory room but with a huge thick door you can't move and probably wouldn't want to.
