First time I was there in well over a decade and thoroughly enjoyed my visit (27/05/23) the food was fantastic and a great choice of beers the barmaid (Rosie) was all smiles and very pleasant and helpful all dayVery nice establishment and met some lovely people too
Today was the Cat Catering Company for a roast lamb dinner but before anything else the excessive mint sauce was my addition not a vegetable included.So, this was really nice and tasty and if you like your two veg as well as your meat this is the place for you. There were mulit-vegetables in abundance and none were boring or filling an eat-good position on the plate. The food is always good and good value in my opinion, and the staff are always pleasant, but on our past 2 visits we've waited between 45 minutes to over an hour from ordering to be served. One member of our party ended up having to take his meal to work with him in a carry out box the wait was so long. We were not told that there would be a wait due to the high number of deliveries being prepared, it was only when we asked we were told. Come on guys, you can do better.
