I'm a bit disappointed. The glasses were dirty.My steak was very well-done and I ordered medium well. I couldn't cut it.There were veins everywhere. My friend didn't get the tartar sauce even though it was on the menu. The waitress had to make sure checking on menu before she brought the missing sauce

Visited for Sunday carvery we booked glad we did got a lovely table with fantastic view of lake, ordered at bar, the carvery was the best we had ever had, so generous with the meat our dog had a feast too, they give you a box with scrap meat in thankyou!

My recent experience at this place was an absolute letdown. Despite shelling out a hefty sum, the meal was a complete disappointment. The chicken, drowned in an excessive amount of batter, failed to deliver any semblance of taste. It felt like I was paying for a coating rather than actual chicken. I wouldn't even consider recommending this dish to my worst enemy.PS: Yes , I know I have finished my food out of sheer hunger but really this amount of batter for a portion of chicken wings ?

Been here for drinks and food a few times, first time eating a Sunday carvery though. Greeted as we arrived and shown to a table with a lake view. Ordered food and drinks at the bar and waited to be called to collect our carvery, this avoids queues for food. All the food was really tasty, best carvery I've had! Roast beef was medium rare, not to everyone's taste I know but it was really nice.Staff were very friendly from being greeted to leaving and nothing was too much trouble, there seemed to be plenty of them aswell. Would definitely come back, but wear stretchy pants this time haha.

Nice view! and the steak was not bad.However the service is really bad, there is only one lady who is really nice, but the elderly lady who ordered for me has a very bad attitude!! I don’t know if she had a bad day or if she’s just been racist…. She was nice to another costumer who is white, and I was the only person who was waiting to order and she was ignoring me for 6-10 minutes and she 100% saw me waiting in the line, when another costumer came and she skipped me and started order for them, but the cute, nice lady told her that I came first. And I ordered two main courses and some drinks, she missed the first course that I ordered so I ordered it again, and she said “you can’t order like that you need to order food together first and then drinks” with those kind of attitudes ????????really bad experience because of her.
We're greeted upon arrival.We chose our seats and ordered food. Our "whale" (cod) & chips was brought to our table in under 10 minutes. The portion was large & it tasted great.The team were great! Very friendly and had a good sense of humour. The food was great, and the view of lake Windermere was great too. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: A lift is available as the venue is on the 1st floor

Garlic Mushrooms: The dish is served in a heated iron pot. The mushrooms are covered with a large amount of garlic. Cut a slice and taste the mushrooms. The taste of the mushrooms gives you a very fat feeling, like eating a large piece of meat.Chicken Salad: Large pieces of gem lettuce are used, and the texture is filling. The chicken is very large and plentiful. The chicken should be fried with fried fish added. Eating the chicken has the taste of fried fish, which is a double enjoyment.What if today’s meal is compared with Chinese food? The few Chinese restaurants we've eaten at recently...are really disappointing.
