Just stopped here for a quick coffee while we waited for the cruise back to Ambleside and have to say the gentleman behind the counter was an absolute gem of a human being! His customer service was second to none, above and beyond. My 2yo daughter wanted some ice cream and he said she could come behind the counter to pick which ice cream she wanted and then he didn't even charge us for it. He was so lovely and and a real breath of fresh air! Brought a smile to all of our faces....read full review

Reasonable prices, not the poshest joint in town but really does what you need. Full belly, well rested and ready to go. Fish chips, peas, bread and a pot of tea. £11.50Coffee and a scone up the road £12So this is spot on.Blink and you will miss it, a little white door where you book on the boat trips.

The coffe shop is a lovely family run business.Calm and relaxed atmosphere with cooked to perfection hot meals and drinks. Fish and chips is cooked in a separate batch of oil to meet halal regulations. Amazing couple providing 5* service . #must go #must try...
