We remembered eating at Rajas a few years ago when staying in Bakewell, and decided to visit again. We were not disappointed. There is so much choice on the menu it takes ages to read! I decided on the Arabian Lamb and it was absolutely divine, so tender, and the sauce was gorgeous. My husband had the mixed Biryani and was more than satisfied. We had a really lovely meal here. We can particularly recommend the Chicken Tikka Bhuna which was delicious. We’d almost stopped going out for Indian food as supermarket ready meals had gotten so good, but this restaurant reminded us just how good proper Indian food can be.

Great indian food with exceptionally friendly and helpful servers. Massive poppadoms (so be careful when you order) however the accompanying chutneys were a bit sweet for our liking.
