I popped in here for a meal on my solo visit to Buxton. The food was very nice. They didn't have any cauliflower but the chickpea and Spinach curry they made me was lovely. The service was attentive and prompt. Despite the very bright lighting, I was very happy.Vegetarian options: The vegetable dish was lovely. The curry was well balanced with nice ingredients. It went well with the naan.

Being a Pakistani I’m very particular with my curries. Always looking for authenticity. Waiter organised for the chef to tailor the curry to our preference. 10/10 ten for the food and service.

I went to Taj last night as I saw good reviews. I am myself from Birmingham, and I would say home of curries best you would find.I saw some negative reviews for Taj Mahal and would like to comment on them please don't let them put you off they are people who are turning up closing time and are expecting to be served so I would ignore them.my review is customer service is excellent staff are really friendly good atmosphere but as I love my curry and I cook myself too I wasn't very happy with the curries it could be just my taste.I definitely recommend this place ?

The food was excellent and it was buzzing on a Monday night! The service was a little too quick - it did feel a bit as though they wanted us out ASAP - but overall would definitely recommend.Parking: They don't have a car park but there is free on street parking reasonably nearby.
