Our Christmas meal with the Christmas menu. The staff as always were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent especially the goats cheese tart. The value was excellent, 3 courses, drink on arrival, crackers (Christmas ones!), coffee and mince pie for after. Really good value, really good food. It certainly helped make a very pleasant evening.
Pre booked a table as a group, and pre ordered food. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful interior. Very cosy and warm. Fantastic, friendly staff and speedy service too. Food was very nice there was plenty of it too! A good variety of options including a number of vegetarian options. An amazing selection of cocktails with a variety of more unique options too! Just had the best homemade steak & ale pie and chips with mushy peas & gravy in Derbyshire, the pie was full to the top of meat absolutely gorgeous, pastry was light, must go here if your in buxton for a visit, nice cozy little pub with lovely staff and good
