Fabulous food! My partner and I ordered the large set meal for two, which comes with a starter of miso soup. The main is a large sushi and sashimi platter. There was a generous selection of various styles of sushi rolls, and some delicious sashimi. Even better, the restaurant happily boxed up our leftovers for us to take away. The service was friendly and efficient. We'd recommend this establishment to all sushi lovers, and will definitely be returning when we visit Buxton again.
We went on a very quiet Sunday evening. We were the only ones in, on arrival. We decided on the set meal for two, as this gives a broad feel of what somewhere is all about. We were really tempted by udon noodles and Dragon roll, but settled on the set for two. First, cons; The music is a bit weird! First time, and will definitely go back. Had the set platter for 2, and there was so much we took some home! I'm not a big fan of fish, so wasn't sure what I would like, and was definitely surprised at what I did like. Even managed chopsticks! The platter has a good range of different types of sushi which was perfect. Staff were absolutely lovely too. Perfect birthday night out for my partner, who is actually quarter Japanese ?.
