Random drop in on a Thursday @ 1pm for ‘some food’ before driving back to gods country (NW England ?)Sweet Jesus what a lucky find ‘the burger’ aka ‘heavenly slabs of cow accompanied by onions caramelised on the thighs of angels’ was unbelievably tasty. Probably one of the best I’ve had thus far in my 40+ years!Highly recommended, so I’d the chicken version my partner went for along with the Jalapeño poppers that set a little fire in your laughing-tackle.The service was excellent (shout out to the young lady that served us) and huge compliments to whomever dreamt up the menu and the chef for nailing it. ??Food & drinks: Excellent food and coffees

What an amazing find! Stopped here randomly this evening on route to Luds Church.Staff were so accommodating found us a beautiful spot on their campsite for £10. Can’t wait to see the views in the morning!Went into the pub and I really cannot fault the service! Food was great, drinks choice was great, even offered samples of some ales.We will definitely return here in the near future.Thanks to the Bull I th Thorn for your exceptional customer service and friendliness.

Sat in the back room with a roaring fire next to us. Food was delicious and we took the opportunity to use the 2-4-1 offer on pizzas. Staff were polite and attentive!

We used to come here in our caravan often when the children were young.Nice to see it back open again.Friendly staff and a very nice pizza.Miss the armour and the oak panels but the place still has a nice ambience with lots of rooms to cater for different types of customer.

Nice location, friendly staff, overall good set up for fair weather however during our stay in January where we booked an electric pitch we got stuck in mud twice needing a tow both occasions. The staff were quick to help however we felt there should be better preparation for this as they said they’d had to tow many others out the mud this season, to pay £25 per night and this happen is a bit disappointing. It would be easy to put more hard standing pitches in place to prevent this. Neighbouring pub and facilities were good and lovely view from the site.

Amazing place! The food is great, all the pizzas are so yummy and the kids options are actual food, not freezer meals!The staff are all really friendly and can't do enough for you. In the summer, the enclosed garden is great for kids and it's safely away from the road. The climbing equipment and little wooden houses give our kids hours of playtime = time for a relaxed meal for us!I recommend the nduja pizza- it's so good!

Very poor service, sat at a table 15 mins and still not been served drinks, barman was talking to other customers not bothering to get drinks ready for us. When we told them we were leaving he told us he had been busy reading his magazine. We will not be returning!!!
