Went here last night with family, 4 adults. The welcome was lovely. Offered a lovely table by the fireside. Drinks order taken quickly. We chose our food and ordered at the table. The food came out very quickly and was amazing. We had 2 chicken burgers, one jalapeño burger and one beef burger. All the food was delicious and very tasty. We had waffles for dessert which were also yummy. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Cannot fault this place , definetly worth...read full review

We held a birthday party in the pizza restaurant of the pub and it was a brilliant venue and a brilliant evening .The space was perfect and the buffet provided was super. The pizzas were particularly amazing! The staff were so nice and helpful. Thanks to Matt and the team for making our event so special.

This place is a real gem. Camped here for the weekend and really enjoyed the pub/pizzaria on site - weather was not great but hey that does not matter when you can reside in such a lovely pub! The campsite is well organised and big spacious pitches. A warm welcome on arrival too. Loved the fact we could also walk from the doorstep to The Royal Oak and Tag Lane Dairy. You can jump onto the High Peak Trail too. Brilliant find in the Peak District.
